Verification methodology

Manual verification, daily
Every morning at 09:00 UTC an editor opens each published code, confirms the discount still applies, checks the expiry date and the activation fee, then updates the CMS. Codes that cannot be confirmed drop to Re-checking.

48-hour timeout
If a code is not re-verified within 48 hours, it automatically loses the Verified badge and shows Re-checking until a human confirms it again.

Diff job (monitoring only)
A scheduled job compares public firm pages and only notifies the team of changes. It never applies coupons or automates checkout.

User reports, 24h SLA
Code not working? The report enters our queue and a human re-checks within 24 business hours.

Exclusives require contracts
The Exclusive badge only appears under a signed contract with the firm. Never invented.
Trust Score (v0)
A 0–100 score per firm, computed from public data we actually have. Formula is public on purpose.

Current scores (examples)
If an input is missing, we show Insufficient data instead of inventing a number. Scores update when an editor audits the firm.
